Ecosystem for pushing the frontier of Physical AI

We genuinely believe that simulation is the most data-efficient way to solve Physical AI.

Yet there are so many open-ended problems in taking simulation into the real world. We can showcase cool demos but still fail at deployment. Startups need to show progress, so it is hard to openly admit “what doesn’t work.” Solving these challenges takes open discussion and collaboration across startups, academia, and industry.

Sim2World is a coalition of startups, academic labs, and industry teams working to close this gap. The ecosystem connects real-world tasks, simulation assets, data, and robotic platforms to advance world models and enable sim-first real-world deployment.

Physical AI needs scale—data, simulation, compute, and policies running on thousands of real robots. To support this work, we are opening up real-world infrastructure through the Real2Sim2Real Arena, a 10,000-square-foot facility at Industrial Next’s San Francisco headquarters. It houses more than 50 robots in mobile bimanual and stationary industrial setups, with dexterous hands for manipulation research.

We are futuristic and practical at the same time because we really want our robots to work. We are excited to solve real-world problems together and build a world where we can free humanity from manual labor.
